With the establishment of a strategic supporting industry of national economy, the professionals of sophisticated and high-skilled had been a strong guarantee in the development of tourism industry. Along with development of tourism industry and the higher vocational tourism education, it is also showing a booming trend of the higher vocational tourism education, especially "about speed up the development of modern vocational education decision" issued by the state council, a brand-new reform are being faced by class teaching organizations and the implementation of curriculum of tourism in the higher vocational college, it is ought to be a breakthrough of teaching, it is necessary to further highlight the dominant position of students, to match the actual working position successfully, to cater the actual need of tourism industry, purpose of the consistent of the teaching process and the production process in the actual class teaching of higher vocational tourism colleges, to change the previous two-step mode of theoretical teaching and practical teaching, to break through the bottleneck of traditional classroom teaching of talent cultivation.Tour guiding course is very important as a compulsory courses and core courses of vocational colleges in the major of tourism management and other related foreign tourism major. China is a main tourist destination country in worldwide, is in the leapfrog development of a tourist resource country to a tourist resources strong country, tour guides as front-line staff in tourism in charge of the important task of receiving. It begins with the reality of the higher vocational tourism education, for the production process and the front-line services of the tour guide working, depending on the various study fields, to combine the actual teaching contents of the tour guiding course to select a specific method, to adopt diversified teaching evaluation, to enhance the two-way communication of "teaching" and "learning", widening the channel of dissemination of knowledge, to promote the integrated construction of learning experience and ascension of self-evaluation ability.Under the specific condition of internal and external of the tour guiding course, it try to break through from three dimension target——basic perception, affection cultivation and action ability for the practical application. This paper contains the following parts: The first chapter is introduction, introducing the background and significance, research status, research content and methods, and innovation of this paper; The second chapter : the presentation and interpretation of the action-oriented teaching methods and theoretical concepts basis; The third chapter: the investigation of tour guiding course in the sample higher vocational college, to find the main issues of the class teaching in tour guiding course, the interaction between the teacher and student in a single form, team cooperative learning is lack of efficiency, the teaching method is lack of flexibility, the separation of theory teaching and practice teaching, there is a weakness of the self-study consciousness and self evaluation ability of the students, it is necessary to improve the consciousness of working position and professional spirit cultivation of the tourism industry; The forth chapter: the action-oriented teaching design of tour guiding course, to take learning fields as a starting point, combining with the specific action research project module; The fifth chapter: the suggestion of the course design research of Tour Guiding in higher vocational college based on action-oriented teaching; There are the conclusions, suggestion and research limitations at last of the paper. The purpose of the application of action-oriented teaching in the tour guiding course of the sample higher vocational college as follows, through the creation of the job situation, the application of the teaching methods and multiple teaching evaluation, it is better to achieve the interaction and integration of the basic perception, affection cultivation and action ability, to promote the integration of learning experience constructing and the improvement of the self evaluation ability, optimizing the teaching quality, to make a beneficial attempt and effort to other professional course for the future promotion.
