With the construction of strong smart grid in full swing, as an important part of the smart grid, the construction of electric data acquisition system is imperative. Directly facing the society and users, electric data acquisition is the main way of community to perceive and experience the achievements of smart grid construction, the basic conditions for the implementation of tariff pricing, and the necessary means to strengthen the lean management and innovate trading platform and improve service quality. The presently substantial increase of investment and rapid growth of the industry manifests that the electric data acquisition system industry has entered the period of high growth. Because the electric data acquisition system is one of the new things that appear in recent years, there is little work regards systematic evaluation of its benefits. Based on analysis of current domestic and foreign research status of electric data acquisition system, the author analyzed functions and actions of the system, and reached to the embodiments of its benefits. According to the characteristics of the electric data acquisition system, the paper attempts to make a comprehensive evaluation on the three aspects:economic benefits, social benefits and environmental benefits. On the basis of this, this paper studies the affecting factors of these benefits and the relationship between them. Because of the non independence of each factor and the existence of mutual influential relations, we introduced the network analysis method, drew each element group and the element mutual action relation chart, and set up the electric data acquisition benefits index system. Based on operation steps of network analysis, the author did matrix calculation and reached the final weight coding of elements, which is the weight sequencing of elements’ influence on electric data acquisition benefits. Quantitative data collected from real example confirm the rationality of the study.Benefits evaluation method based on network analysis is in line with the characteristics and requirements of electric data acquisition system. This method is advanced and practical, and compared to other studies on electric data acquisition efficiency, it is more reasonable and refined. It can be applied as a relatively universal evaluation model.
