Research On The Local Government’s Promotion Of Strategies Of Corporate Social Responsibility

Along with the development and alteration of Internet technology and the market economy,the relationship between the China and the world was become more closely.With the development of global corporate social responsibility movement, China also had been strongly influenced.As a result,the influence of enterprises in society was largen,and the relationship between enterprise and society became more and more closely.CSR was a complex system. It was not only related to their own interests,but also the more important was the quality of CSR was directly affects the society and the general public.However,many enterprises’realizations of CSR were weak.Many enterprises have not realized the importance of CSR.Many enterprises have not performed the social responsibilities. So the government departments have promoting, encouraging, guiding and supervising enterprises to perform the social responsibilities that had become the main driver.Especially the local government’s effects become more and more important. Government-led enterprises to actively perform the social responsibility was not only the actual needs of China’s development at present, but also the needs of local government followed the historical trend,connected with international standards and communicated with the world.Therefore, this paper based on the interaction between Duguitala Industrial park Administrative Committee and Elion Resources Group.Studied the local governments promoted CSR issues. The paper’s first part introduced the background and significance of the study, the current research and the contents and methods.It pointed out the innovations and deficiencies of this paper.The second part described the concept of local government and CSR.It also expounded the theory of governance and CSR.The third part introduced the status of local governments promoted enterprises to perform CSR.And it summarized Duguitala Industrial park Administrative Committee’s experiences in promoting enterprises perform CSR.The fourth part described the status of local enterprises performed CSR.Mainly introduced the organizations and major initiatives of Elion Resources Group performing their social responsibilities. The fifth part analyzed the problems and reasons of local government promoted enterprises to perform their CSR.The sixth part put forward the strategies and recommendations of the local government promoted enterprises to perform CSR.With the development of CSR rapid movement,enterprises performing CSR had no doubt. And social responsibility as a strategic tasks of the enterprise was a general trend.The local government will play a important part in actively promoting enterprises performing CSR.It was also an important task for government to realize modernization level governance.
