The Investigation For Present Conditions Of Putian’s Developing Agriculture And Factors Of Profitablity Effects

Due to rapid development of the economic level and Urban-rural integration, the traditional agricultural model has been unable to meet people’s demands. As a new model of modern agriculture, urban agriculture is developing rapidly in various cities of China. The urban agriculture has 3 main functions include society, ecology and economy, these 3 functions are helpful for urban development combined with agricultural development better. Also, urban agriculture will promote the diversified development of urban economy, make upgrading of industrial structure for urban and its surrounding areas quicker, and promote the integration process of urban and rural areas.Putian is located in the coastal area of Fujian where have superior natural resources and good economic foundation and superior location conditions, these advances cause Putian has Great potential for development. In recent years, urban agriculture is developing rapidly in Putian, such as the number of farms increased year by year. Therefore, this paper is based on farmer’s perspective to do the study on urban agriculture industry in Putian. Firstly, this paper will analyses influence factors of resource environment and development benefit. Then, according to the analysis results to do discuss about development strategy of urban agriculture in Putian. Therefore, this study has a strong theoretical and practical significance to the development of urban agriculture in Putian.This article firstly analyzes the development status and mode of the urban-agriculture in putian.it provides a few advantages of Putian in urban-agriculture development, such as productivi ty, leisure-agriculture, eco-agriculture, and economy. Nevertheless, the agriculture in Putian is ina dequate in industrialization, investment, professionals, and high-technology. According to differen t regional characters, the urban-agriculture in Putian is divided into four parts, including the mount ainous area in northwest, the plain in the middle, the southeast TIZ (Taiwanese Investment Zone), and the southeast offshore area. Different development modes based on these characters are propo sed for each area and the case studies of each farm are also briefly introduced respectively. In the s econd place, this article uses the MLR (Multiple Linear Regression) method to analyze some impa ct factors of the benefit of urban-agriculture development in Putian from the view of Agricola. As a result, there are four factors having a significant impact on the benefit of urban-agriculture devel opment, which are age, radius of the main people flow, convenience of the transportation, and cha racteristic of folk-customs. Finally, we advance some specific strategies using demonstration com bined with normative analysis based on aforementioned factors, like encouraging youths to partici pate in urban-agriculture development, improving the transportation system, taking full advantage of the characteristic of folk-customs and so on.
