Over the years, professionals always focus on the way of improving the workers’ performance. Presently, the definition of individual performance has not yet reached agreement. For a long time, scholars generally believe that job performance is one dimensional. It is regarded as the employee’s work results or behavior. But with the rise of teamwork, single performance view is not suitable for today’s enterprise management requirements. Therefore, scholars choose the related behavior from the job performance to analyze the performance of the individual work.1993, Borman and Motowidlo found that, job performance does not only contain the direct effect on the core technology of organization behavior, but also includes indirect role in organizational technology behavior, such as actively helping colleagues. They went further to build a two dimensional model of job performance:task performance and contextual performance . So far, two dimensional model of job performance was gradually approved by majority of scholars. Accordingly, the scholars have put forward the concept of dual performance, which contains task performance and contextual performance, according to the works of Borman and Motowidlo.In the era of economic knowledge, improving the knowledge workers’s performance is the enterprise foundation of existence and rapid development. The rise of working mode of team-work, also requires that enterprises should not only focus on the knowledge workers’ task performance but also focus on improving the knowledge worker’s contextual performance. Under the background, how to improve the work efficiency of the knowledge type employees become the hotspot for scholars and business managers.During work, errors can not be avoided, error will not only lead to the decline in the quality of work besides, but can also bring opportunities to the staff increase of performance. So the study of the error communication orientation of employees is very important. When knowledge workers find errors and cover up the mistake, it will lead to error cannot be repaired and untimely improvement, resulting in serious consequences. But if knowledge workers take a positive attitude and communication with the surrounding colleagues, reflect on how to solve the common errors, it will correct the error quickly, called benefit by mutual discussion, thus further enhancing the dual performance. Research has shown that, the error orientation will have an impact on organizational performance, but research based on the angle of error communication orientation is still relatively short. Because of improving dual performance and provide a new idea, this study through the empirical analysis research the relationship between error communication orientation and job performance.The knowledge workers has more perceptual sensitivity than the general workers, There work makes them no longer satisfied with simple tasks. Participating in pre design work and have more autonomy are important factors of knowledge workers’ working enthusiasm improving. Based on self-determination theory, if an enterprise can give employees more job autonomy, staff’s autonomy need would be satisfied. At this time, internal staff regulation motivation is correspondingly higher。Then they will adjust their error communication attitude and work with full enthusiasm contribution. They are also more willing to bear a certain degree of error, and take the initiative and others communication and collaboration to solve the error. Therefore, the different attitude of knowledge workers will influence the level of individual performance of employees.Therefore, based on the mainline theory the "perceived-attitude-performance", this study will find the effect of knowledge workers’ error communicating orientation on employee dual performance, and analyze the work autonomy on the relationship between the two regulatory role, to make up for the lack of related theory, and gives employees high effective suggestions for improving dual performance.Through the study, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)There is a positive correlation between the knowledge worker’s error communication orientation and the dual performance, that is, the positive error communication orientation will improve the employee’s dual performance;(2) The relationship between the job autonomy and the dual performance of error communication plays a regulatory role, that is, the higher the job autonomy of knowledge workers, the stronger the relationship between the error communication orientation and the dual performance.This study is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction, including the research background, purpose and significance, research ideas and methods, possible innovation points and so on.The second part is literature review, which mainly reviews and reviews the definition, dimensions and related theories of error communication orientation, job autonomy and employee dual performance.The third part is the basic theory and research hypothesis. Based on the theory of self decision, this paper puts forward the research hypothesis and constructs the model with SPSS.The fourth part is the research design. The paper draws on the mature scale to design scientific and reasonable questionnaire, investigation and reliability and validity test.The fifth part is the empirical analysis. Firstly collected data sorting and processing. Secondly, it carries on the descriptive statistics and correlation analysis of variables, then carries on the analysis of error communicating orientation effects on employees’ dual performance of main effect, the final inspection work autonomy in error communicating orientation effects on employees’ dual performance the moderating effect.The sixth part is the conclusion, suggestion and prospect. Through the empirical analysis, this part draws the conclusion, and puts forward management suggestions. Finally, it points out the shortcomings of this study and the direction of future research.
