With the development of the world economic integration, and the increasing competition pressure of the market day by day, the enterprises need to have sustainable competitive ability to survive in the complicated market competition. For Maintaining the advantage for a long time and achieving their strategic goals, enterprises not only need the core technical personnel, but also need a good performance management way. Today,many managers is realizing that performance management is becoming more and more important. A good performance management tool can tap the inherent potential of employees, develop employees’ ability, and stimulate their enthusiasm. A good performance management tool can promote the enterprise to its goal, so the choice of the tool becomes particularly important. Taking company "Z" as an example, this paper studies the enterprise performance management based on the Balanced Scorecard perspective.The first part of this paper introduces the research background, significance of the performance management, and then the current status about it in the domestic and overseas, namely a description of research ideas, innovations and shortcomings. The second part introduces the related concepts and theoretical basis of performance management. The third part, started to introduce the case of company. Focus on the industry that companies belong to, some basic information, and the problems that exist in the company’s currently used performance management tools. The fourth part is the core section of the article, after the introduction of the theoretical basis and the company information, focus on the construction of Z Company’s Balanced Scorecard. In this chapter, first of all, it took some space to describe the overall strategic objectives of Z Company, and then pick up performance indicators from four dimensions.In the construction of the Balanced Scorecard performance appraisal system, divided into the company level, department level and individual level, mainly in order to reflect the Balanced Scorecard implementation. When Index selection is completed, do AHP weight distribution in the company level. After the construction of the performance evaluation system of the Balanced Scorecard, this paper analyzes the problems that may exist in the process of implementing the Balanced Scorecard, and puts forward some preventive measures to avoid the problems. The fifth chapter is the last part of the paper, which is mainly about the summary of the study and some prospects on the application of the Balanced Scorecard.This paper hope that through the research of Z company performance management and the construction of the balanced scorecard, providing a point of reference value to similar enterprises in the process of the introduction of Balanced Scorecard. It is hoped that the Balanced Scorecard can develop better in theory and can be better used in practice.
