Health is the basis for people to engage in economic activity and create labor value. It is also an important guarantee for national economic growth and social sustainable development. But behind the progress of health level, the world health inequality problem deteriorated increasingly. The difference of health level between different people which was caused by social economic, environmental quality, living habits, culture, etc, was a serious threat to the development of society. Therefore, more and more international and domestic scholars pay attention to this question. Environmental factors are one of the important factors that affect human health. Forest resources as an important part of the environment have been confirmed that impact on human health importantly, but the research achievement of the relationship between forest resources and regional health inequality is still rare.This paper was based on environmental medicine, economics, sociology, statistics and other theories, chose China’s 31 provinces typical index about health, used factor analysis to get the regional score of health level. Also calculated the Gini coefficient of health inequalities which showed our country has serious health inequality problem. Then, this paper used the panel data model proved the positive impact on forest resources in health level which was based on the consideration of social economy and health services. In the model, the independent variable was the rate of forest coverage, and the other instrumental variables were resident consumption level, urbanization, the rate of health examination, system management rate of children under three years old and maternal systematic health rate. The analysis of model proved that the forest resources have influences on regional health inequality. At the end of the paper, some suggestions which can be used in government decision making were propound.
