Haiyang Dige Trade Company Foreign Trade Risk Management Research

Meanwhile, the defect of SMEs industry structure itself, financial innovation, talent training and other aspects, lead to export is facing many risks, we must take appropriate measures to effectively manage and avoid risks, to achieve healthy and sustainable development of foreign trade enterprises and China’s economy.In this context, this paper researches progress of foreign trade risk management-related research literature and a summary and overview, the second chapter focuses on the concept of risk management, risk management theory and the concept of foreign trade, foreign trade risk types, relevant management principles and methods, which provides the theoretical basis for analyzing and solving HaiyangDige Trading Company foreign trade risk management.And furthermore, based on the study object of Dige Trading Company, the history and current development status of Haiyang Dige Trading Company were introduced, and its main trading area-North America, European Union, East Asia and other regions, detailed analysis about the market environment were made, and the final results show that Haiyang Dige Trading Company’s main business areas exist in international risk, and currency risk, but there is also a major opportunity for development, and the SWOT is introduced to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of developing foreign trade under the current international situation, advantages such as product, talent, market, logistics and etc., disadvantages for example, main export channels is very simplified, low-price competition, the international macro-environment is deteriorating and etc.The fourth chapter analyzes and summarizes the current foreign trade risk management of Dige Trade Company; including the risk of trade policy, the risk of exchange rate policy, the risk of technical barriers, the risk of trade credit and the risk of international settlement, and the main causes of Dige foreign trade risks are further studied, including foreign trade risk management system is not standardized, the deletion of risk management department of foreign trade, the backward of foreign trade risk management concepts and methods.For the risk types of Haiyang Dige Trade Company foreign trade risk management and the main causes of risks, Chapter VI presents some recommendations on strengthening Haiyang Dige Trade Company foreign trade risk management, including build up a reasonable organizational framework, dividing functions and carry out their duties to strengthen risk management organization system construction, strengthen the institutional rules of construction risk management, strengthen capacity building in trade risk management, strengthen risk monitoring and early warning system building.
