KX Logistics Center Of Agricultural Products Cold Chain Logistics Development Present Situation And Countermeasure Research

Since the reform and opening-up, China’s economy has kept growing, with promoted comprehensive national strength and dramatically improved living conditions of the people. At the same time, the consumption structure and demand tendency of urban citizens for agricultural products changed greatly. For instance, people consider more about safety, freshness, and convenience for purchase in terms of farm products. This change stimulates the development of cold-chain logistics. Meanwhile, cold-chain logistics is playing a bigger role amongst modern logistics by its feature of temperature control. However, China’s cold chain logistics of agricultural products is comparatively behind developed countries in Europe and America in terms of systematization, informationization and integration, which results in the high loss ratio during storage and transportation. According to a gross survey, the loss of fruits and vegetables is 25%~30%, which is 4 to 5 times of that in developed countries. Hence, it is important to put more effort to the study of development strategy of cold-chain logistics, in order to guarantee agricultural products quality, reduce loss, and prevent pollution as good as possible.In 2014, the CPC Committee and the Government of Liaoning Province boosted the development of cold-chain logistics, initiated some demonstration projects of cold chain logistics of agricultural products and kicked off the building of 100 dispatching centers. The CPC Committee and the Government of Anshan seriously implemented the work deployment of the CPC Committee and the Government of Liaoning Province, made the KX Dispatching Center as one of the major projects, gave comprehensive support to it, and has achieved some good results.Based on some investigation and literature study, the author chooses the KX Dispatching Center as the study case of cold chain logistics of agricultural products and make related study in three aspects. First, it briefly talks about the development status of agricultural products cold-chain logistics both domestic and abroad, the value of study, relative theories and literature, and the methodology and content of the study. Second, it analyzes the macro environment of the KX Dispatching Center using the PEST theory, studies the pros, cons, opportunities, and challenges using the SWOT method, and aim at WO combination of KX Dispatching Center gives some suggestions. In the end, Based on the strategic management thought,it deeply studies the development strategies of farm product cold-chain logistics in terms of four aspects, such as development strategy, human resource, marketing, and other countermeasures.The results of this paper will be a guidance for the KX Dispatching Center to build the management system, reduce operating cost, promote service quality, build enterprise image, and enhance popularity and reputation. At the same time, it is also a positive support for Anshan to boost its cold-chain logistics building, and to promote the farm product cold-chain logistics demonstration projects.
