The Intergration And Application Of Mobile Phone Information Technology In Agriculture

The Big data, cloud computing, networking and mobile information technology characterized by "Internet plus agriculture" will largely promote the China agricultural informatization and agricultural modernization. And in recent years, with the farmer’s income level continuously improving and the mobile phones, especially smart phone costs and prices continuously falling and the rural network infrastructure continuously improving, the mobile phone gradually entered ordinary peasant family and rural mobile phone popularity rate is rising year by year. The large-scale promotion and application of mobile agricultural business platform, mobile agricultural expert system and agricultural weather and pest damage monitoring applications greatly facilitate the daily life of farmers. It also reduces the cost of agricultural information and improves the efficiency and level of agricultural production. In order to explain the mechanism of the integration and application of mobile phone information technology in agriculture, based on the analysis of rural status quo of cell phone use, the research analyzes the four aspects of the mobile phone information technology in human capital integration mechanism, agricultural information integration mechanism, lifting mechanism of the TFP of farmers and agricultural innovation diffusion mechanism in details. At the same time, based on the questionnaire survey of 197 households in three provinces, this paper makes an empirical analysis with structural equation model on the impact factors of agricultural technology innovation cognition from the perspective of farmers’ mobile phone using.Research results show that:(1) Compared with newspapers, television and radio and other information dissemination channels, mobile phone information technology gains timeliness, focus, low cost, high penetration rate and high efficiency of service characteristics. This meets the regional, timeliness and specific needs of agricultural information dissemination. This is also an important channel to improve the efficiency of agricultural technology innovation and the level of agricultural informatization in China. However, the proliferation of information and the distortion of the mobile phone information dissemination process, as well as the issue of mobile phone security issues need to be attracted the attention by farmers and government departments.(2) Mobile information technology can improve the stock of farmers’ IT-derived human capital by improving the traditional human capital, optimizing the organizational capital and expanding the social capital. It can also play an important role in cognition, interest, evaluation, trial and adoption of agricultural technology innovation diffusion process. At the same time, mobile phone information technology can enhance the total factor productivity of farmers by promoting technological progress, improving technical efficiency and scale efficiency. In addition, mobile phone information technology has greatly promoted the information process of agricultural resource environment, agricultural production, agricultural market, agricultural science and technology, agricultural personnel and rural life.(3) The empirical analysis shows that the household characteristics, the characteristics of farmers and the characteristics of the use of mobile phone have a significant positive impact on agricultural technology innovation. The role of characteristics of farmers’ production is greatest. The role of characteristics of the use of mobile phone lies in the second and the role of households lies in the end. At the same time, the acceptance of agricultural technology training, higher cultural level and a higher degree of Concurrent industrialization of agricultural has a greater impact on the agricultural technology innovation cognition. But the influence of the traditional agricultural production index, such as the area of the cultivated land and the quantity of the family, is small. It also tells us that the government should continuously provide the farmers with agricultural technology training, enhancing the education level of farmers and encouraging farmers’ diversified agricultural management. This can enhance the role of mobile phone information technology in the diffusion of agricultural technology innovation, thus improving the efficiency of agricultural production and promoting the construction of modern agriculture.
