In the past decades, the small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs) have gradually been taking up a great part of China’s economy and played significant roles, while most of these enterprises find financing difficulties have limited their further growth. Despite the fact that Chinese government encourages banks to help these SMEs out, it is still difficult for SMEs to get loans from banks due to their unreliable or even fraudulent financial statement and no equivalent pledges. To achieve further development and growth, SMEs find it impossible to solely rely on taking loans from banks. Many SMEs regard the flourishing of National Equities Exchange and Quotations(NEEQ) as a great opportunity to regulate the operations, build reputation and solve financing difficulties. However, to appear on the NEEQ, SMEs have to regulate their operations and standardizing financial reporting systems as required. This paper, based on a real SMEs case, uses qualitative and quantitative methods to provide solutions for SMEs to be listed on NEEQ.
