Research On The Influence On The Ecological Environment From Modern Coal And Chemical Industry In Ordos City

The ecological and environmental protection situation in China is grim, in order to solve ecological environment problems, ecological environment in different areas of research is needed to be constantly improved. Ordos, as the national key energy and chemical production base, modern coal chemical industry has been developing rapidly here, and has had great impact on the local ecological environment. According to the national energy reserve strategy, clean energy development needs, modern coal and chemical industry will continue to expand in Ordos. The research on the influence on the ecological environment will reasonably control the development scale, and optimize the protective measures.This paper has studied the development of modern coal and chemical industry and the research results of the ecological environment in China and abroad. Firstly, this paper analyzes the current situation of the development of modern coal and chemical industry and ecological environment quality in Ordos City, and clearly indicated the main impact of modern coal and chemical industry on ecological environment.In addition, this paper advanced the weakness of current ecological environment impact assessment in comprehensive evaluation and indicators selection area. Secondly, the development scale of modern coal and chemical industry in Ordos City as well as the impact of the emission of different kinds of pollutants on the ecological environment was calculated, mainly using expert interview method, combined with life cycle analysis method and environmental bearing capacity analysis method, established the comprehensive evaluation model of coal and chemical industry impact on the ecological environment. Finally, the development of modern coal chemical industry in Ordos City was empirically studied by using the comprehensive evaluation model, and reasonable suggestions and countermeasures have been put forward.This study indicates that the development of modern coal and chemical industry in Ordos will address China’s energy structure and ensure energy consumption, and also will have significant effect on the local ecological environment. These effects have to be reduced by some economic and technical methods to protect the environment. This study has great significance on the coordinated development of local socio-economic and ecological environment. Moreover, it can also be used for other similar energy type cities and regions of the ecological environment evaluation.
