Study On Wujiang’s Peasants Cooperative Organization In Anhui Province During The Republic Of China

Modern China suffers domestic trouble and foreign invasion,rural society is declining.Thereby,numerous intellectuals join rural renaissance movement,which Zouping mode in Shandong Province and Dingcounty model in Hebei Province will be the most representative.In the 19th year of the Republic of China,Nanking University cooperates with Agricultural Extension Committee,they establish agricultural extension experimental area in Wujiang,which aims at improving and extending agricultural.As a result,which experiment achieves great economic and social benefits.The association of Wujiang carries out members accessed lenient in and severe out,class members were reasonable distribution;Through cooperates with the Bank of China,ran food collateral,reduced the influence of "Cheap Grain Harms Peasants";Assisted farmers in establishing farmers cooperative organization,alleviated the financial difficulties;Preserve farmers from the corrupt officials,local tyrants and evil gentry,assert farmers’rights;Help farmers solve legal land disputes,maintain rural social harmony. This article researches the peasants cooperative organization of Wujiang in Anhui Province based on the Rural Renaissance movement during the period of the Republic of China.Uses the relevant historical data during the Republic of China,with the approach of economics and history,we attempt to analyze the establishment and operation of the peasants cooperative organization,finding that cooperative manage perfectly,organizing the peasants effectively and improving agriculture and advance production. At last, which promotes the harmonious development of rural economy and society.First,we establish a game model to analyze the game between cooperative and the farmers,finding that perfect cooperative system and abundant social capital are important elements to induce farmers to abide by the law,low execution cost is a key factor to motivate cooperative work hard.Through the historical comparison,we find that experimental area though run cotton marketing cooperative,improving cotton trade environment,increasing farmers’income.The credit cooperative selects members strictly,deal with use,duration and amount of the loan reasonably,risk management mechanism effectively,which includes mortgage for secure,extracts professional fund and other measures,eases shortage of rural funds.Next,we through comparative institutional analysis,we explain the plight of progress of the cooperative,finding that the National Government implemented war-economic control,strengthen the control of the rural resources with cooperative,which has deviate from the original intention of the establishment of the cooperative seriously.At the end of this paper,we intend to analyze the characteristics of peasants cooperative organization and try to put forward the reference value.The experimental area as "the first action group",which accelerates the transformation of the traditional agricultural and causes inductive institution evolution;The peasant association help to set up cooperative,cooperative organization integration effect is remarkable.When the government formulate the design of top-level system,they should consider the reality of the bottom,improve the construction of the information service platform and creative fiscal and financial policies,accelerate infrastructure construction,establish diversified patterns of "three-in-one" cooperation organization.
