Acquisition of enterprise development is an important way and important advantages of the transnational M & A is:first, to help companies expand market share and visibility, secondly, rich resources of target enterprises in the host countries generally have more mature and rich resources. Finally, cross-border mergers and acquisitions can also effectively reduce the barriers to entry into a new industry, greatly reduce the risk and cost of enterprise development, make full use of the experience curve effect, obtain the competitive advantage of science and technology, financing facilities, and with relatively low prices for the assets or equity of his country’s enterprises and so on advantage. Thus it can be seen that Medtronic in corporate mergers and acquisitions relatively mature and successful, this paper mainly for Medtronic, Inc. acquired domestic listed in the United States company Kanghui Medical Devices Co., Ltd. the acquisition process were studied, specifically for assessment before the merger, the implementation of the acquisition process, people and cultural resources integration and mergers and acquisitions effect assessment of research, for domestic enterprises in the future mergers and acquisitions to expand to the world to provide reference.
