The Relationship Between Environmental Performance And Financial Performance

In recent years, the negative environmental problems have become more and more serious with the development of industry. Environmental hazards caused by the frequent occurrence of the event, as a pillar of the country’s economic development is the expense of resources and the environment of the main body- the enterprise is receiving attention from all sectors of the community. China’s "12th Five-Year plan", the party’s "Eighteen big" and the2014 Davos economic forum are concerned about the green development of Chinese enterprises. So it is very important to study the relationship between environmental performance and financial performance, whether from the angle of the society, the environment or from the financial point of view of the enterprise.The first chapter introduces the research background, purpose and significance, by reading a lot of literature and referring to the relevant books, integrate their own point of view proposed in this paper, the research ideas, research methods, research content, focusing on the innovation of this paper. The second chapter is the literature review, this part is the focus of this chapter, detailed carding about the environmental performance and financial performance data, the part of foreign and domestic, and then from the theoretical level and empirical level in the second research on the relationship between the depth and the breadth of analysis,research review is made. The third chapter mainly introduces the definition of environmental performance and financial performance, the selection of indicators, focusing on the relationship between corporate environmental performance and financial performance of the theory of the relationship between the need to rely on. The fourth chapter is the empirical analysis, is the core part of this paper. This chapter on the research of the third chapter, listed companies in Shenzhen and Shanghai stock market as the object of study proposed research hypothesis and research design, given the study of determining the characteristics of the research model, through SPSS and Eviews technology to collect and calculate the data of descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, final results of the regression analysis, to verify the hypothesis that the conclusion of the study. The fifth chapter is the summary, conclusion and prospect. A summary of the study of the text, find out the problems found in the course of the study, on the basis of the conclusions of this paper, the government and enterprises put forward the corresponding feasible suggestions. Finally, it explains the limitations of this study and puts forward the future research direction.
