With the economic development, the attention of labor protection had been rising in the past years. In the international trade, the code of conduct has become an invisible barrier for the export trade of developing countries. In this existing literatures, the major of domestic and foreign scholars’ related elaborate focus on one kind of code of conduct, such as the SA8000 standard. Or they focus on an industry code of conduct. From the theoretical and empirical aspects, this article analyzes the effect of code of conduct for Chinese export industry. This paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter describes the background and significance of codes of conduct in the supply chain, as well as research content, research methods, innovation. The second chapter reviews the literature review about codes of conduct at home and abroad, as well as its summary preliminary code of conduct and explores the relationship between fore ign trade. The third chapter focuses on the footwear industry, clothing(including textiles) industry, toy industry, electronics industry, analyzes these four sectors representative codes of conduct, and find that code of conduct in different sectors has similar content about labor rights and environmental protection, all including the prohibition of child labor, the prohibition of illegal workers, the prohibition of discrimination, working hours and labor rights. On the environment, all of them include the workplace and environmental protection. In addition, code of conduct in different sectors of the industry will be different because of the presence of a slight difference. The fourth chapter is a theoretical model to codes of conduct with export industries. Through the establishment of three models, analyzes the impact of code of conduct on the market profits and market share. In this paper, using the panel data of Chinese 23 industries from 2005 to 2014, selecting the number of SA8000 certification as a production representatives of code of conduct, establishes the multiple regression equation to analyze the effect of code of conduct on the export industry. The results show that although in the 23 industries, the empirical results of the wood products industry is not ideal, but the other 22 industries show that codes of conduct in these industries to Chinese export industries have a positive role in promoting. Thus, generally speaking, codes of conduct and the export industry are proportional. The sixth chapter is policy recommendations.
