Satisfaction Of The National Pig Industry Supporting Policies Based On Enterprise Perspective

As we know, pig industry is a very important segment of entire agricultural economics in China, especially in animal husbandry, which means a lot in promoting economic development, raising farmers’ income and satisfying consumer needs. The price of live pigs is ruled by the government during era of planned economy before 1985, when the abnormal fluctuation phenomenon doesn’t happen frequently. But everything was changed when the price of live pig ruled by the market, especially since the year of 2007,fluctuations comes now and then. The government established series of policies to stabilize supplying of live pigs while satisfactions of pig breeding enterprises, the direct beneficiaries of these policies, still remain to be evaluated further more. Therefore, this research will conduct some related assessments to the current supporting policies for China’s pig industry based on the perspective of pig breeding enterprises’ satisfaction,explore the potential factors and provide effective suggestion for government.Firstly, This paper reviews the current researches both in domestic and foreign fields on the pig industry to build up the theoretical framework; Secondly, overview all the recent important supporting policies to get a whole picture of research background;Thirdly, evaluate the satisfaction to China’s pig industry support policies based on pig breeding enterprise perspective and analyze the potential factors Finally, summarize our current pig industry support policy problems and optimization suggestion: Industrial supporting policy of the pig farming enterprises mainly included subsidies supporting,credit insurance supporting, scale supporting and the marketing macroeconomic regulation and controlling policy; Enterprises is basically satisfied to the supporting policies of the pig industry, and numerous sow subsidy policy, numerous sow insurance policy, major animal epidemic compulsory immunization vaccines subsidy policy satisfaction are in the top three; Link disease of pig slaughter pigs disposal subsidy policy satisfaction increase the improvement of the overall satisfaction is most sensitive to policy; Working years,breeding scale, the scale of operation, policy, cognitive features are the main factors influencing the policysatisfaction; China’s supporting policy of pig industry still exist the following problems: subsidies policy support level uneven, credit support policy to carry out the single policy support level of difficulty and scale cultivation, the pig warning issuedrelated policy is not sound.The innovations of this paper are as follows: First, we select the new research objectives. The main research object for the satisfaction research of supporting policy is the pig breeding enterprise. Second, we use the new method in this research field. This paper combined the macro and the micro research cooperation, sorted out the supporting policies of pig industry on macro area, empirical analyzed the satisfaction of supporting policies on micro area; Combined qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis. Third, we focus on the new research field. Making descriptive statistic analysis on industrial support policy of the pig satisfaction and analyzing the sensitivity and influencing factors.
