Communications technology and transportation has developed greatly, and the distance among people has been closer. The traditional trade chain has changed from space. Economic exchanges between countries become more and more frequent. The international division of labor has been a modular; business outsourcing has become an economic norm. In the global value chain model, global production division gets reassigned. Activities of transnational corporations have been increasing along with economic globalization, which will make different stages of the production process divided in different countries and regions. The final products will include a large number of intermediate products from various countries and regions. These intermediate products have been traded between countries, or exported and manufactured by other countries. This is one of the reasons why the traditional methods of trade statistics in recent years have been criticized. Such intermediate products will be doubly counted and can’t accurately show the status of each country’s international trade. More and more experts and scholars recognize that the traditional methods of trade statistics cannot accurately reflect the overall status of the international trade of all countries, especially cannot accurately reflect the participation of countries in the international division of real benefit level. In recent years, the "trade value-added" quickly became a focus on the research of global value chain and the division of labor. A major innovation of this paper is to research China’s service trade status by the trade value-added, which is a leading school subject. Further, this article analyze China’s trade status up service by using the existing status indicator. This paper tries to analysis China’s service trade in terms of trade value-added by using the Market share, the Revealed Comparative Advantage and GVC. It came to this conclusion:China’s service trade share is rising year by year. The result of the calculation indicates that China’s service trade exports have relatively weak competitiveness, but shows an increasing trend. This shows that China’s service trade competitiveness is improved year by year,, but still is a relatively disadvantaged country. China’s international division of labor is located in the middle of the value chain.
