Research On Cultivation Of New Agricultural Business Entities In Henan Province

Henan Province has been playing a key role in national food production, cultivating new business entities in Henan province is of great significance in increasing yields and food security. By analyzing the current situation and new constraints about agricultural business entities in Henan Province, we propose some countermeasures and suggestions to provide a reference for the development of relevant Henan agricultural policy. The main findings are as follows:1. At present, there are 43435 professional investors,12041 family farms,86300 specialized farmer cooperatives and 6500 agricultural industrialization leading enterprises in Henan Province. A new type of agricultural production and management system has been formed, including the farmer’s management as the foundation, professional farmers and family farms as the backbone, the specialized farmer cooperatives as the link, and the leading enterprises of the agricultural industrialization as the support. This system can improve the organization of agriculture production, and promote farmer’s income and agricultural efficiency.2. The main factors affecting the development of new agricultural business entities in Henan Province are described as follow:scarcity of land resources and transfer lag; policy and supporting system is backwards, the relevant policy and regulatory system is imperfect and the existing policies are inefficient; agricultural social service system is imperfect; lack of ideological knowledge and enthusiasm; new agricultural business entities is constrained while developing:poor in scale and the internal operation, in lack of professionals, high cost in circulation and low efficiency; the agricultural infrastructure is weak itself.3. In order to cultivate new agricultural business entities more efficiently in Henan Province, the following measures were taken, including accelerating the improvement of the land transfer system, developing and improving policy support, regulating the construction of new agricultural business entities, establishing a more efficient agricultural social service system, employing more qualified person and train farmers with professional knowledge and strengthening the organizational leadership and awareness of government services.
