A large number of theoretical research and practice has proved that Supply chain finance(SCF),as an innovative financing instrument,has made significant effects in releasing the pressure in SME financing.The history of SCF in our country might be short,but it has developed rapidly from the beginning.Now most commercial banks have been involved in the SCF market.The automotive industries is a capital-intensive industry,the industry’s development mainly rely on the leader’s performance in this field, however the core company’s suppliers and customers are both SME,which are waiting for the financing from the commercial banks,so SCF might play an important role in improving the value of this industry in the future.The sample of this paper is a large-scale state-owned bank,we combine theory and practice of analytical methods together, both use the research method of document analysis and case study,start the topic from a collaboration between the bank and all kinds of companies relying on the supply chain in local. We describe the history and current situation of SCF business in this bank, Then focus on the background of the collaboration between the bank and all kinds of companies in automotive industry,we introduce a package of service offered by the bank to the companies in automotive industry,and describe a case illustrating the factoring offered to one of the suppliers.In the forth part,we analysis the the case mentioned above from the advantage,probability,results and problem of the business. In the last we refer some views from the papers at home or abroad to give some constructing advice on intensifying the risk management and prevention for the bank.
