Resource-based cities refers accompanied by the development of resources and the rise of cities, resource-based cities in the country to provide energy and raw materials, while itself has been rapid development. With economic development, resource consumption is accelerating, the city is facing depletion of resources into the development of power shortage, the industrial path dependence is too strong, structural adjustment difficulties due to many problems "resource curse" caused, has caused concern in the community. How to make resource-based cities from the "capital DECLINING" vicious trap of development, not just the development of resource-exhausted cities most urgent problems to be solved, and our nation to achieve economic, and environmental development that must be solved.Taking old city as the research object, the present situation of resource-based cities of the analysis of the development, evaluation and analysis be coordinated development, and strive to find out what the resource-based cities in the outstanding problems of coordinated development, restructuring and development process where the key it is important to promote the coordinated development of resource-based cities.This paper introduces the background and significance of research, and the literature review, research ideas and methods briefly.
