Research On China-Indonesia Economic And Trade Cooperation Since 2000

China and Indonesia are friendly neighbors across the sea, the trade relations between the two countries has a long history. Since the two nations restored diplomatic ties in 1990, especially China and Indonesia enhance bilateral exchanges since 2000 and the broader context of strengthening cooperation with ASEAN, China and Indonesia in the political, economic, cultural and other fields of constantly strengthen the friendly exchanges and cooperation, formed the good economic and trade cooperation relationship. Indonesia’s rich in natural resources, China’s lack of resources, there are highly complementary in the production and utilization of the resources. At the same time, there is a huge complementary in the two country’s economic structure.China is advantage in manufacturing industry, the domestic production capacity tends to saturation,while Indonesia’s manufacturing system is relatively weak. So the economy of China and Indonesia is complementary, has huge cooperation potential, strengthen economic and trade cooperation between China and Indonesia is very important to the economic development of the two countries. Under the joint efforts of the two governments, economic and trade cooperation between China and Indonesia continuously strengthen and obtained many achievements, but now the two countries also has some problems in trade、investment and other various fields cooperation, faced with from its own problems and challenges of external disturbance, etc. So research on the current situation of economic and trade cooperation between China and Indonesia, analysis and summarize the problems and reasons existing in the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries,discuss the measures and suggestions for promoting economic and trade development between China and Indonesia has very important significance.In this paper, the research content is divided into six parts, each part as follows:The first part:describes the importance of our country to strengthen economic and trade cooperation with Indonesia, mainly from the surrounding stability, economic development and all-round diplomacy three angles for analysis.The second part:A brief review of the development history of economic and trade cooperation between the China and Indonesia 2000 years ago. since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1950, China and Indonesia’s economic and trade analysis can be divided into three stages, namely:the slow development stage from 1950 to 1966; the direct trade disruption stage from 1967 to 1984; the recovery and development period from 1985 to 1999.The third part:Introduce the cooperation in bilateral trade, direct investment, project contracting and the field of infrastructure between China and Indonesia since 2000, as well as analysis the exchanges of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.The fourth part:first, analyze the problems existing in the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, mainly analyze the problem of two countries itself in trade and investment,and the problems of external powers interference with bilateral trade and economic competition and political interference influence on the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries,then analysis of reasons of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries combining with the problem exist among.The fifth part:elaborate recommendations to promote economic and trade development between China and Indonesia,combining the current situation and existing problems.
