China is in the era of big tourism at present, the country raising tourism boom, and the national tourism awareness generally increased.From the central government to local towns all generally realize that its powerful role of the tourism industry in promoting can effectively solve the new-type urbanization and optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure.The tourism industry is also an important and competitive industries for the development of national economy and the local economy.In our country, the status and importance of tourism suddenly improved. In addition,in the cultural turning trend of Geography,the importance of cultural,cultural connotation and Significance in the space attracted the attention of geographical experts and scholars,and cultural space has become a major focus of Geography. Under these two backgrounds, the cultural space theory in addition to used to guide the protection of intangible cultural heritage,but can be applied to the development and construction of general tourism destinations,and whether the change mechanism of cultural space in tourism destinations is universal applicable that need the positive cases to fully provide evidence.Case studies will play a catalytic role for boosting the theoretical and empirical studies of cultural spaces.On the basis of the research literature about the cultural spaces and evolution of the tourist at home and abroad,this paper draws on the definition of cultural space that experts and scholars proposed,and defines the concept of cultural space in tourism destinations. On this basis,this paper uses the evolution mechanism of cultural space in tourism destinations,the life-cycle theory of tourism destinations,cultural and ecological theory and other related theories to research the cultural space and its evolution about Yao Mountain tourist area in Huangpi District of Wuhan City.The focus of this article drives a general cultural space in tourism destination---- the cultural space about Yao Mountain tourist area in Huangpi District of Wuhan City ----as a case study.On the basis of the brief introduction about Yao Mountain,this paper objectively analyzes the cultural core and the characteristics of the cultural space about Yao Mountain,and this lays the foundation for studying the evolution of cultural space about Yao Mountain tourist area.This paper studies the evolution of cultural space about Yao Mountain tourist area from the time dimension,spatial dimension and functional dimension. In the time dimension, the cultural space about Yao Mountain tourist area has passed through the three stages:the early intervention period, the initial exploration stage, the period of steady development, and during the time evolution, on the cultural characteristics of "the red classics, green mood",the cultural space about Yao Mountain tourist area experienced a process from the cultural consciousness to the cultural self-confidence and to the cultural self-improvement, and in this process,material culture elements, elements of spiritual culture, behavior cultural elements evolved along wish it. In the spatial dimension, spatial forms have evolved from the little cultural nodes,chaos cultural axis,weak cultural field,small cultural zone incipiently to currently the manyculture nodes, clear cultural axis,growing cultural field, forming cultural zone. In the functional dimension, it is also a combination of the production and life and tourism function from the original single production and life function. Studies show that the cultural space and its evolution about Yao Mountain tourist area follows the general evolutive rules of cultural space in tourism destinations,and in the evolutive process, it is changing from conservatism and close to open and communication, and enhancing display and living state significantly. The cultural space and its evolution about Yao Mountain tourist area are mainly influenced by the four major stakeholders:the government,the tourism enterprises, residents, tourists.the cultural space and its evolution about Yao Mountain tourist area is the result that stakeholders influence it. The cultural space about Yao Mountain tourist area currently shows generally benign,forward and developmental trend.on the basis of the analysis about its evolution in every aspect,this paper proposes three guidance:treasuring the cultural resources,following the evolution rules of cultural space in tourism destination, taking into account the relevant stakeholders, and hopes that the cultural space about Yao Mountain tourist area in Huangpi District of Wuhan City achieves faster and better development.
