The Research On Evolution Of Regional Space Interaction In Zhejiang Province

With rapid development of science, technology and socio-economic, the speed of various production factors such as production, information, human etc. allocating in different areas have been accelerated. Economic space interaction between the regions has become more closely. In this background, from the perspective of regional spatial interaction to observe regional economic development is an issue worthy to be discussed.This paper measures and analysis the evolution of regional economic space interaction between different areas from 2000a to 2013 a, and the county and city in Zhejiang Province are the research units. To explore the economic space interaction between cities and counties in Zhejiang Province, this paper measures the spatial interaction within cities and counties from three dimensions, they are:(1) The effects of the spatial diffusion of the cities are examined:this paper uses the ratio of urban areas by per capita income and average per capita income of suburban areas to measure the evolution of spatial diffusion in Zhejiang Province;(2) The economic space interaction between 11 cities are measured:considering the road conditions and economic link between cities to adjust the gravitation model and use the model to measure the economic space interaction, then analyze the evolution of economic space interaction between cities;(3) The agglomeration of County-lever are measured:using the Gini coefficient to measure overall economic differences trends in Zhejiang Province, and then ESDA spatial analysis methods are used to measure global and local economic agglomeration among counties.Finally, based on the above analysis, this paper agrees that economic differences and traffic condition of location are the important factors which have influence on the economic space interaction in Zhejiang Province. And then this paper put forward suggestions which could optimize the regional economic space interaction.
