Research On Evolutionary Spatial Economic Disparity Of Counties In Hunan Province Based On ESDA-GIS

Regional economic differences are universal rules in the process of regional development.Research on the regional economic spatial differences and their causes will help us grasp the current status of regional economic development,promote the economic development of backward regions,and consolidate the economic achievements of developed regions.The spatial differences in the level of county economic development in Hunan directly affect and restrict the linkage and development of the regional economy in the province.If we do not use the smallest unit with independent economic management functions,the county-level administrative unit as the research object,refinement and continuity will be implemented.Therefore,it is difficult to find effective and effective factors that restrict the coordinated development of Hunan's regional economy,and it is impossible to make targeted improvements to the economic disparities in Hunan Province.This paper uses ArcGIS technology and the Exploratory Spatial Data Analysis(ESDA)method to select 13 comprehensive economic data from 122 county administrative units in six time sections of Hunan Province in 2006,2008,2010,2012,2014 and 2016 to extract the main components.After the factor,a comprehensive evaluation of principal component analysis was performed.The global evaluation results of each year were analyzed by global spatial autocorrelation and local spatial autocorrelation analysis respectively.The results of global spatial autocorrelation analysis Moran's I,local spatial autocorrelation analysis results Moran scatter plot and LISA agglomerative plot were compared by time series..At the same time,the unit of the quadrant transition in the Moran scatter plot is coupled with the principal component analysis results to find out the major component factors that have a significant impact on the spatio-temporal transition of the county economy.From the overall analysis of the Moran's I index to the local analysis of the Moran scatter chart and the LISA agglomerative graph,to the micro analysis of the space-time transition unit,the multi-level analysis of the evolutionary process and characteristics of the spatial disparity of the county economy i n Hunan province is carried out in a comprehensive manner.The research results show that the main manifestations of the evolution of spatial economic disparities in Hunan counties during 2006-2016 are:(1)the Moran's I index shows a downward trend;(2)the Moran scattered point space-time transition units increase;(3)the LISA spatial agglomeration feature is significant.From 2006 to 2016,the evolutionary characteristics of the spatial disparity of Hunan's county economy are mainly as follows:(1)The positive correlation of county-level economic space shows a decreasing trend,and the overall pattern of economic spatial disparity has an optimization trend;(2)The frequency of spatial-temporal transition of economic units shows an increasing trend.The spatial-temporal transition dominant factors are different;(3)The spatial aggregation level of county economy is generally low,the agglomeration capacity of core county units is weak,and spatial agglomeration is characterized by mixed types;(4)The economic space agglomeration is in the trend of “the retreat of Changsha in western Hunan”.The economic growth of the ChangshaZhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration has not yet been fully formed,the “low and low agglomeration areas” in the western Hunan region have decreased,and the regional economic growth in the western Hunan Province is forming.Finally,combined with the analysis results,the causes of spatial economic disparity in Hunan are summed up as follows: the direction of the development of national strategies;the level of utilization of resource endowments;the target stage of economic development;the intensity of policy guidance and the extent of regional inflow.The countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the coordinated development of the county economy are proposed in response to the above five causes.They are to eliminate institutional barriers,support county-specific industries,accelerate industrial restructuring,narrow the urban-rural income gap,and promote the free flow of factors.
