At present, china’s economy is undergoing an important historical phase of economic transformation and upgrading. As part of the foundation of the national economy, the development of manufacturing industry is promoted to the national strategic level. And the target of manufacturing transformation and upgrading is to build up a number of manufacturing enterprises of high-end, intelligent and information-based which is High-tech Industry. The word "High" in "High-tech Industry" means the growth of output can depend less on factor input and relatively more on the improvement of production efficiency. Here, the efficiency of production refers to the Total Factor Productivity (TFP) of enterprises. One of the key point of the study of china’s economy is to explore the TFP of the High-tech Industry and its influence factors. In this paper the non parametric DEA method is used to calculate the Total Factor Productivity (TFP) Malmquist Index of China’s High-tech industry during 2001-2013, then we analysis the influence factors of TFP index by using empirical model. Finally, according to the conclusion of the model, it provides some policy suggestions for the development of high-tech industry in our country.
