Research On The Effect Of Industrial Agglomer-ation On Export Of Yunnan’s Industrial Enterprises

There is a certain relevance between the exports of industrial enterprises and it’s spatial agglomeration, the export behavior of the enterprises in higher industrial agglomeration degree region often more active, while the enterprises within the lower degree of industrial agglomeration area less to export behavior. The more comparative typical example is the eastern part of our country is gathering a considerable part of the enterprises and the volume of import and export has accounted for the most of our country. Meanwhile the western region showed a low degree of business concentration and the less volume of the total import and export. In addition, there are different scholars have done a lot of analysis on this remarkable economic phenomenon, but the relevant research results about how the industrial agglomeration affects export relationship did not reach a consensus.Yunnan as the more prominent province in resource advantages of the western region, in terms of the beginning to take shape urban agglomeration industry, such as characteristic agriculture, tobacco, pharmaceutical, tea and tourism or it’s industry agglomeration park development, it’s economic benefit is obviously. But when we analysis the gathering on the status of each industry in Yunnan Province find that most of the Yunnan industry agglomeration degree is still in a low level. This paper attempts to analyze the effects of the industrial agglomeration’s effect on the export from the perspective of industry. Firstly, We analyzed the internal mechanism of the effects that how the industrial agglomeration affects export. Then we analysis and describe the current status of Yunnan’s export and industrial agglomeration by the appropriate indicators. Due to the value of the delivery value of industrial enterprises can be regarded as a constraint variables, we use Tobit model and Yunnan’s 21267 industrial enterprises dates in 2000-2009 to make analysis by the empirical model. The main conclusion is that there is an non-linear inverted "U" shaped relationship between industrial agglomeration degree and it’s exports, that is with the rising level of industrial clustering, the exports will rising, when the agglomeration level reaching to the highest value and rising, the exports will falling. Yunnan’s industrial enterprises currently showing a relatively low level of agglomeration and weak export capacity characteristics. The average degree of concentration of industrial enterprises in Yunnan Province was 0.0547 from 2000～2009, when the HHI index is 0.2512 the level of exports will reach to the highest value. Yunnan’s industrial enterprises gather degree far reaches a critical value, the improving of agglomeration is contribute to the industrial enterprises in Yunnan’s exports.
