Study On Small And Micro Enterprises And Regional Economic Development In Yunnan Province

Small and micro business is playing a more and more important role in present economic society. It has already become one of main drivers of economic development, and its healthy growth is a matter of the overall situation of economic development. However, the development environment of small and micro business in our country is not consistent with its economic status. Small and micro business is still facing many kinds of difficulties, such as financing difficulties, labor shortage, heavy tax and fee burden and so on. On the other hand, the development of small and micro business in different regions is not balanced. In the eastern region, development barriers of small and micro business are largely removed since reform and opening up, then small and micro businesses flourish. But in the development practice of southwest area, the development of small and micro business has been lagged behind. In terms of the economic development level, the eastern region is far more developed than southwest region. In order to understand the relationship between small and micro enterprises and regional development, and put forward countermeasures for the development of small and micro enterprise, this paper analyzes the functions of small and micro enterprises to employment, investment, technological innovation, economic structure and so on to demonstrate its impact on regional economic development, the empirical analysis part picks the production value of small and micro business and the GDP of Yunnan province as variables to do the Granger Causality test, and reveals the mutual promoting relationship between small and micro business and regional economic growth. At the same time, this paper analyzes the regurgitation-feeding function of regional economic to small and micro enterprises. On the other side, the development situation of small and micro enterprises in developed countries and developed regions in China and its influence to regional economy are elaborated in this paper, and we can not only obtain the conclusion that small and micro enterprises have important function on regional economy development, but also absorb their small and micro enterprises development experience, and provide a beneficial reference to the small and micro enterprises development in Yunnan province. After learning from the advanced experiences and combining the difficulties faced by small and micro enterprises in Yunnan province, I provide some suggestions to support the development of small and micro enterprises in our province. I hope the effective implementation of these suggestions can make small and micro business in Yunnan province and other less developed areas develop healthily and fast, and play its role preferably in promoting regional economic development, and put small and micro business and the development of regional economy into a virtuous cycle.
