A huge amount of waste is produced every year in our country. However, the traditional forward supply chain, which aims to maximize the benefit of each independent economic entity, without considering the processing of waste products, is one of the main reasons causing environmental pollution and waste of resources. With environmental pollution and shortage of resources becoming more and more serious, people are gradually realizing that the traditional supply chain has been unable to meet the increasingly diverse needs nowadays. In addition to economic benefits, enterprises are beginning to pursue environmental benefits and social benefits. SG company as a national backbone grid enterprises, in recent years to gradually increase the recycling and disposal of waste materials in efforts, although the management present situation has improved, but because of its long-term extensive management, resulting in a lot of waste and used materials is not proper recycling and disposal resulted in not only the loss of state-owned assets, and buried under a lot of security risks. In order to achieve this strategic goal, we must further improve the level of waste material processing, and effectively promote the recycling of renewable resources.Due to its significant contribution in dealing with the problems of resource and environment depletion, closed-loop supply chain has gained attention around the world. Closed-loop supply chain is the sum of forward supply chain and reverse supply chain. It is a close loop chain formed by suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and recyclers during the process of products from supply to consumption, and residual products from consumption to supply, in order to realize and explore the value around core enterprise, through both positive and negative control of information flow, logistics, and capital flow.Based on a description of the background, development and status of closed-loop supply chain, and literary reviews on the closed-loop supply chain recovery mode, this paper introduces the current research on recycling modes, and their respective advantages and disadvantages. This paper also designs a new process for recycling grid waste materials, and puts forward an improvement scheme for technical appraisal. On the basis of a more detailed classification of waste materials from the power grid, and according to the recovery mode introduced before, this paper puts forward following suggestions:Clear waste materials management responsibilities and increase the assessment, detect and star rating on a regular basis, strengthen the management and control of waste materials, do a good job of waste material collecting management, actively promote the informatization management and so on. The suggestions are expected to provide a reference for the SG Corporation to effectively carry out waste material management work.
