Research On Engineering Project Cost Management And Control For Electric Power Construction Enterprise

Electric power is one of the essential energy in daily life, which is of great significance on people’s lives, economic development and social stability, as well as the basic guarantee of promoting technological innovation and solving globalization problems. Therefore, the power industry has been the top priority of the country’s economic development strategy. The increasing social demand for electricity promotes the rapid development of the power industry, the number and scale of power engineering are rising at such a social environment, power companies are facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges.Increasingly fierce competition in the power industry urged power enterprises pronged approach to enhance the overall competitiveness, and construction project cost management is one of the important parts. Therefore, if the power construction companies want to quickly improve the level of construction cost management and level of project control, they should, firstly, comprehensive its own operations to ensure the project margins resulting; secondly, optimize power project cost management structure to improve project cost management into science and effectiveness. But on the status view of China’s electric power enterprise cost management, most companies lack of efficient and reasonable project cost management approach, it is difficult to accurately and effectively on cost control. The corresponding lack of systematic and comprehensive management also hampered electricity construction of the normal development of enterprises.Based on the existing problems and shortcomings of the current electric power construction enterprise project cost control, this paper proposed a research idea on the construction of electric power construction project cost control and management system, combining the power and construction firm-specific projects and dividing the project into interconnected activity by the activity-based costing. Then we analyze the activity by earned value method, and evaluate the operation cost and schedule, and realize the real-time dynamic monitoring. Finally, combined with system dynamics simulation software, we will give a dynamic analysis on the specific state of structure and evolution trend of construction project cost, and provide basis for the establishment of a strategic decision for the enterprise, which will build a new mode of cost management for the electric power construction enterprises in the modern production environment. It is of great significance to promote the application of cost management and control theory and development.
