Research On The Informatization Of Material Procurement And Inventory Management Of The Power Generation Group A

Along with the economic reform, China’s power industry has called for new supplies procurement and inventory management and there were needs to build some system to surport procurement and inventory management, and in the end, it could reduce the cost and improve the efficiency. This paper focused on how to plan the informatization system and how to build one, so firstly it analyzed the management status, problems and reasons, basing on the company requirement, it made specific demand to design the fuel and other equipments respectively, also researched the relatived department. This paper respectively designed the fuel and informatization system and followed this plan to carryd out this methods.The workflow and management method of fuel was differernt from the other material, and the money that spend on the fuel was more than half. Also, due to the lack of information exchange, there were some material wastered, bad inforamtion sharing. To solve this, the paper build the procurement and inventory management information system. For the fuel, it included plan, suppliers, measure and inventory management, embodied the power generation plan, fuel procurement plan and the procurement contracts, so that the system can control the contract within the work flow. Also the system can support the enquiry of fuel consumption to make inventory management. For other materials, the system creates the functions such as the material code management to make the standardization administration, and formed procurement tasks based on the work flow, so that the Group can do the acceptance management, the warehouse inventory management, the materials management, and other daily operations.Group A has used the information system as a tool to provide the platform in order to share information, so as to ensure info exchange and feedback of procurement and inventory management between different departments, which can improve the efficiency of information collection, transmission and feedback, and keep the consistency and effectiveness of data to optimize the use of material resources of the enterprise.
