Research On The Relationship Between Transport Infrastructure And Economic Growth In Wuhan

Infrastructure is the foundation of national economic development and reflects the level of national economic development. Transprot infrastructure directly spur economic growth, providing human and material resources which are absolutely necessary and important guarantee for reginal economies development. And how to deal with the relationship between transprot infrastructure and reginal economies development is very important. It is proved that reginal economies developed after road construction, thus it is essential to analysis the relationship between transprot infrastructure and reginal economies development for the whole economic development.This thesis focuses on transprot infrastructure and reginal economies development in wuhan, and analyses the spillover effect of transprot infrastructure and reginal economies development in wuhan, and analyses the spillover effect of transprot infrastructure to wuhan’ economic development. This thesis contains two analytical methods, theoretical analysis and practical analysis, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,which are based at various variables and indexes. This thesis contains three parts.Firstly,the anthor gives a brief definition to infrastructure and transprot infrastructure, and analyses the relationship between transprot infrastructure and reginal economies development from theory; then analyses the transprot infrastructure development situation and reginal economies in wuhan.Secondly,VAR Model is adopted in this thesis, and the anthor practically verifies the long balanced relationship between transprot infrastructure and reginal economies development of wuhan by adopting cointegration test, granger causality test,impulse resonse and variance decomposition. It proves that transprot infrastructure and reginal economies are long-term equilibrium relationship, At last,the author puts forward some comprehensive policy proposals according to analysis results. On one hand,layout traffic design rationally and increase investment on transprot infrastructure; on the other hand,pay much attention to environment protection,these suggestion were draw from historial experience and significant to the future of wuhan. only make future development on transprot infrastructure can stimulate economics in wuhan.
