Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture is a typical underdeveloped minority area,the area is poor, and the level of poverty is deep. In the next five years, the state funds and policies will gradually tilt to the agricultural economic development in less developed areas, which indicates the development of agricultural economy in Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture will have a rare historical opportunity.In the study of the existed types of agricultural efficiency, The used of DEA and relevant models are of the most results, but not yet on the Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture region of agricultural economic efficiency evaluation had did a systematic quantitative research. First of all, This paper describes the research background and significance, the research status of agricultural efficiency theory and application, the basic content and methods, the basic structure of the article and technical route,etc; Secondly, introducing the correlation theory and mathematical model of agricultural economic efficiency,which constituted the theoretical basis of the study; From the methods used in the evaluation of agricultural efficiency,the paper clarifies the reasons for selecting DEA models and its related model as the evaluation method of agricultural economic efficiency, and its mathematical model is explained in detail;From consideration on the basis of agricultural economic invesment into the labor force, land and technology elements of three dimensions and efficiency output, and drawing on previous research results, which the evaluation index system of agriculture economic efficiency in Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture of economic efficiency are established; Finally,The DEA basic model,Super efficiency DEA model, DEA-Tobit two steps method and Malmquist index method are used to analyze the static and dynamic efficiency of agricultural economy in Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture, and take this as the basis, combined with the actual situation of agricultural economic development in Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture, which the policy recommendations to improve the efficiency of the agricultural economy in Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture were proposed. The main research findings are as follows:(1) Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture in the high efficiency of the agricultural economy during the period of 2009-2013 overall,but it did not reach the effective state of DEA; The projection analysis of non DEA effective area shows that:The non DEA effective area in the factors of agricultural economic input elements does not play a maximum effective use, agricultural output did not achieve maximum, and according to the results of the analysis of the agricultural economic input elements can reduce the target value.(2) In the analysis of the environmental factors influencing the efficiency of the agricultural economy, it is the use of DEA-Tobit two steps method found that the impact of per capita net income of rural residents and agricultural crops affected area on the agricultural economic efficiency of Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture is negative; Influence of urbanization level and rural water affairs expenditure in Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture agricultural economic efficiency as positive role.(3) Using the Malmquist index method to calculate and analyze the dynamic efficiency of agricultural economy in Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture show that:Technological progress is the main driving force for the improvement of the total factor productivity of agricultural economy in Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture, and total factor productivity of agricultural in Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture regional differences are obvious. |
