| Patent is an important means of modern enterprise competition, and has become the main variable of industry reshuffle, which is particularly evident in the mobile phone industry. This thesis,(1) took mobile phone companies whose products are sold in Chinese market(referred to as mobile phone companies) as the object of the study;(2)established Chinese patent data analysis database of mobile phone companies through Chinese State Intellectual Property Office patent retrieval system;(3)analysed structural features and trends of mobile phone companies’ patent application, and made the appropriate classification of these companies;(4)selected domestic and foreign leader-level mobile phone companies separately according to level of patent output, and then did comparative analysis of patent data;(5)made multivariate patent data analysis of selected key research samples to present in-depth mobile phone companies’ patent competition;(6)according to those analysis, gave corresponding optimization suggestions for domestic mobile phone companies in patent-related strategies, like industry reshuffle, make mine strategy, set mine strategy, remove mine strategy and cooperation policy. This kind of research method can also provide some reference for patent strategy research of other industries and enterprises.The innovation of this study are threefold: First, offered a solid, reliable and feasible statistical analysis method by analysing mobile phone companies’ reality condition, development and changes, competition position in patent application in China based on regional nature of patent; Second, according to patent data which are applied in China, made comparative analysis in many aspects, such as mobile phone companies’ leader levels, key samples, enterprise types, IPC items, to present corresponding enterprise feature. Third, according to the analysis, provided corresponding optimization suggestions for domestic mobile phone companies in patent-related strategies. |
