Research On The Disposal Of Non-Performing Assets Take AMC Y For Example

Finance plays a key role in modern economy. Suffered from global financial crisis many times, financial systems in many countries are now plagued with non-performing assets. How to deal with the non-performing assets(NPA) in banking industry has become an universal problem that draws extensive attention of many governments and all sectors of society.With the slowing down of national economy, financial risks like non-performing assets appear in a large scale, especially in coastal area of East China and some industries like steel and shipbuilding. Also, there are inevitable risks in export-oriented industry, local financing platforms and real-estate industry. Generally speaking, the banking industry is faced with most non-performing assets. How to reduce financial risks and stop their expansion is related to the security of commercial banks and the substantial economy. Founded by the State Council in 1999, the four state-run asset management companies(AMC) Cinda, Huarong, Orient, Great Wall have been designated to deal with non-performing assets in state-owned banks and have been making economic and social benefits.Analysis of this thesis is centered on the disposal pattern of non-performing assets of AMC Y, pointing out problems of low withdrawal rate and low marketization of NPA and offering some promotion strategies and disposal methods of non-performing assets. Features and innovations of this thesis:1.According to the defects of auction method, we suggest to use internet and introduction conferences and other channels to advertise the disposal of NPA and invite bidders to make preferable choice among non-performing assets.2.According to the defects of debt-restructuring, we put forward a package plan of non-performing assets disposal to increase our financing channels constantly and make a comprehensive survey to improve the disposal efficiency of non-performing assets. 3.According to the defects of transfer method, we suggest a scientific evaluation of non-performing assets and focus on the negotiation strategies and the negotiation of price-making. At the same time, we also pay attention to employees’ work ethics to make a right estimation of the disposal non-performing assets and optimize the their assets value in negotiation. 4.According to the current situation of non-performing assets disposal, we put forward some solutions: to build non-performing assets supermarket, to securitize assets, to resort to trust fund company. 5.We suggest these asset management companies transform into investment agencies with assets disposal as its core service and business. They can take advantage of internet, previous rich experience and clients resources to create a new business pattern of investment banks, to offer financial services in a larger field and gradually develop into real collectivized and comprehensive investment banks.
