Research On R & D Management Problems And Countermeasures Of CC Company

The competition environment of diesel engine presents new trends. With CAT, Perkins, Cummins, MIT and other foreign diesel engine manufacturer’ development in Chinese markets, and domestic manufacturer’ new product line launch, the competitive environment of CC company became obviously more fierce. Also these several years, China is in the reform and economic restricting period with a slowdown in infrastructure construction, and the market demand of diesel engines fell significantly. In addition, the environment awareness increased, emissions regulations became more strictly, and Non-road Tier3 emission regulation are applied to all Non-road mobile machinery with diesel engine on Oct.1, 2015. So it is important and urgent to change CC Company’s research and development management mode to develop more competitive products.Based on theory of open innovation, research and development management, this thesis deeply studies the current situations and problems of CC company research and development management, analyzes the reasons, and applies to open innovation mode and mindset to solve the problems of R&D management. It is to innovate R&D management model and even influence company business model. Firstly, the thesis states the background and significance of the R&D management problem study, and the research content and thinking. Secondly, the thesis states the theory of innovation, R & D management, and open innovation. Then analyzes the current situation and problems of CC Company’s research and development management. Investigates the R&D management issues through questionnaire survey and personal interview, and analyze and assort the causes. Finally, the thesis states that setting up open innovation platform which based on the Internet is to solve the problems of R&D management. And organization reform, technological learning and training system, performance management, project management improvement, technical competitive intelligence analysis, and intellectual property protection are to improve internal R&D capability to support open innovation platform and model.
