China’s GDP Data Quality Study

Statistical work is statistical information processing and producing process, statistical data is the core product of statistical work activity. Therefore, statistical data quality can be regarded as a statistical work of the lifeline, statistical data quality directly relates to the success or failure of statistical work. Macroeconomic statistics is the state of operation of macro economy of a country or region and the number of levels reflect, also is the main basis of government macroeconomic policy, so for their structural changes make scientific judgment, has important practical significance and application value.Nearly 30 years, our country’s economy has developed rapidly, and international economic status has gradually improved. The domestic and foreign scholars always have different attitudes to our country economic data. In this background, more and more scholars explore new mathematical models and mathematical method to diagnose our country’s economic data. This article is against this background for diagnosis of GDP,sucked up predecessors’ experience method and combined with my own innovation. At first, this paper introduces source and background of the topic, and introduces the China’s international economic status. And then, in this background, this paper analyzes the importance and significance of the statistical data in the modern economic development.Then, the paper introduces two methods of statistical diagnosis, traditional diagnosis method-- data deletion model and new diagnosis method-- stepwise local analysis. The data deletion model mainly integrated various statistical magnitude to diagnose statistic data; stepwise local analysis is mainly on the basis of the data perturbation, seeking for the disturbance of the most sensitive direction. At last, with the production function model put forward by the Lucas and time series model, this part diagnoses the reliability of the GDP in different ways. Data deletion model is set up by using SPSS software, finding out the abnormal points and possible abnormal points; and then the stepwise local analysis method is set up with the aid of Matlab software to diagnose the GDP data. Then compare the two methods of abnormal points, and the stepwise local analysis method can find hidden points. This article is also based on calculation formula of two kinds of GDP,which is transformed into growth based on the production method and the expendituremethod, and then uses the data deletion model to diagnose the growth data, finding out the abnormal points and possible abnormal points. After that, the stepwise local analysis method is used to diagnose the growth data.
