Basing on 25 provinces and cities’ panel data from 2002--2012, this article uses the extended STIRPAT model to analyze the driving factors of carbon dioxide emissions. In order to analyze whether there are differences in the impacts of different commodity structure on carbon dioxide emissions intensity, this paper divides exports into high-carbon products and low-carbon products, and does the overall regression and grouping regression. We use absolute and relative indicators to measure the structure of export commodities. The results are as follows: both indicators positively affect carbon dioxide emissions, but the impact of relative structure for 25 provinces is greater than the absolute indicator. The results also prove the existence of Jevons paradox. Energy price doesn’t significantly affect the intensity of carbon dioxide emissions. The relationship between technology and carbon dioxide emission intensity is inverted U-shaped,which means the technical level will increase the intensity of carbon dioxide emissions in the short term but reduce carbon dioxide emissions in the long term. In addition, environmental regulation and carbon dioxide emissions intensity also have inverted U-shaped relationship. Energy structure and industrial structure positively affect carbon dioxide emissions intensity, but the provincial revenue variable shows negative impact...
