After reviewing studies about relationships between airports and economic growth, I introduced the development process of China’s civil aviation industry via three aspects, includes the total masses of transportation, the construction of airports’ sizes and the economic geography planning.Based on the neoclassical growth theory, agglomeration theory accessibility theory and trade theory, the paper used panel data from 2003 to 2013 analyzed 46 different size airports’ regional economic influences. Also, I tested the effects of regional economic growth on airport. I found that airport transportation and regional economic growth both have positive effects on the other. The article evaluated the coupling coordinated development degree of Multiple Airport Composite System(MAC) in the Yangtze River delta. The results show that the coupling degree of airport relates to the size of airport and the scale of city economy. Within MAC, few oversize airports pull others, and some big size airports push forward the coupling degree of MAC.The paper puts forward some advices to airport development in airport construction, city construction and talking platform of MAC.
