Research On Team Formation Of Product Y Based On Technology Capability Matching Task

With the pace of information technology, the development of innovative products has entered a new stage. Software products as one of the representative of it, has also been a rapid increase.The characteristics of intangible knowledge elements composed determine the factor which decided the quality of it is the developer, what’s more is the whole team and here more reflected as a kind of “Knowledge Team”. But under the background of the era, larger scale, increasing number and shorter development cycle bring challenges to the original R&D team building models and concepts. So the formation of the team as the front-end of product development is worth studying and exploring.In this paper, we set up product Y’s R&D team of software development company P as a research object. Through the analysis of the behavior of product Y’s team formation, we points out three major problems in the construction mode: Technical ability of the selected members is insufficient, Distribution of work is not flexible, and the lack of economic rationality. With that we give corresponding solutions under the current Task-oriented approach of the team formation research, theory of technical and human-team matching in the human resource management.Specifically: First, using rank order clustering algorithm to form a working group to complete the same skills tasks, so as to achieve the flexible allocation of work; Second, consider establishing an integer programming model for the cost and technical ability factors, Can meet the demands of the task technical ability to minimize the cost of partner selection and task allocation, so as to improve the economic rationality of the overall team formation behavior, and set up a team to provide reference for a number of innovative product development company.
