Research On The Current Situation And Strategies About The Development Transformation Of Development Zones In Northern Jiangsu

After the 30 years of development since 1984, the development zones of china have become the highest domestic extroverted degree and the fastest economic growth area, which also show the most achievements about the reform and opening up policy. However, since the middle of 1990s, restricted by internal and external factors, the development of development zones has been in a dilemma. A lot of development zones proposed development transformation to promote the construction of zones through industrial structure adjustment, industrial upgrading, completing and improving the function and facilities.On this background, this paper selects northern Jiangsu as the research scope, national economic and technical development zones as the main objects of study and other related development zones as general and auxiliary ones. A series of analytical method, such as investigation, qualitative and quantitative analysis and comparative analysis are used to analyze the current situation about the development transformation of northern Jiangsu. And the text could be divided into four parts:The first part is about the theory and practice about all aspects of research on the development zones.The second part relates to the research on the current situation and the trend of transition in the aspects of industry, function and space, which is based on the investigation and data collection.The third part is about the features and agent of the development transformation in northern Jiangsu which are concluded from the analysis above.The forth part, and the last part, is about the development transformation strategies which are proposed basing on the awareness of the development phase and points and the conclusion of the experience of developed zones.
