With the development of knowledge economy, the enterprise needs to break through the original entity organization boundaries, move towards the cooperation by the competition, create the value together, enhances competitive capacity. The virtual management itself is a kind of advanced thought and concept on organizational structure transforms, and the small and medium-sized enterprise must prepare to meet the management reform tide.This article discusses on the concept of the virtual management and the virtual enterprise firstly. The connotation point out that the concept of the virtual management sourced from the virtual enterprise, the virtual enterprise is the result of the entity enterprise carries on the virtual management. It is necessary to understand the limits of its content correctly. Secondly, this article analyzes the present situation of the domestic and foreign consulting industry and the trend of virtualized operation consulting company, and points out that the virtualized operation consulting company has its unique advantages and necessity. Western industry has entered a rapid development period of prosperity, and consultation industry in our country although after nearly 30 years of development, the gap with the western consulting is still very big. As emerging industry of the 21 st century, consulting industry has become a wide range of social activities and intercommunity industry. For numerous small and medium-sized consultancy, manpower and financial resources cannot be compared with large domestic consultancy, needless to compete with international giants, so virtualized operation will become the best development path for small and medium-sized consulting firms.
