Since the 2008 financial crisis, China’s manufacturing enterprises are facing a great crisis of survival, into the 2015, China’s manufacturing are also facing many enterprises are facing a lot of business failures or relocation to the development of Southeast Asia in Dongguan. Compared with other countries in the world, China has a big gap, the lack of core competitiveness makes a lot of enterprises difficult. As a veteran of many years of hard work in the manufacturing industry, TK company has passed 17 years. Companies in the development process has repeatedly changed the direction of the product according to the needs of the market. Since 2006, the company in the area of consumer protection and security segments began to gradually find their own position. However, in the process of development, there are still a lot of problems, this article will be carefully studied to improve the TK company’s main production planning system.This paper takes TK company as the research background. TK company in the process of the growth of the subdivision of the field, the beginning of the production plan is very disorderly, and even very confused. The beginning, sales meetings, we propose to mentioning their sales targets, and then blurt out, sales and marketing leadership according to the target of all sales staff are given to make a comprehensive sales plan. Sales plan came out, directly from the sales plan to form the main production plan, and now the main production plan is more like a comprehensive production plan, so the main production plan as the core, resulting in a lot of problems. Such as shortage of finished products or the backlog, the shortage of raw materials and the backlog of production capacity is not balanced, etc..The research object of this paper is to solve the problem of TK company, which is a series of problems caused by the lack of production planning system. In the research of the company, we found that the company’s main production plan is not perfect, must be improved. The improved method is to establish the main production plan (MPS), and to establish a new master plan (RCCP) to verify the main production plan. The main production plan is the core of the whole production planning system, and the input of the material requirement planning. TK belongs to that kind of product structure, the product has a lot of common components, component modules, which are typical of the order oriented assembly (ATO), planning methods for the multi-layer MPS. BOM MPS design, plan BOM, modular BOM for the entire master production plan has played a role in the simplification.In fact, such as TK companies such as small and medium enterprises, a lot of other companies are also similar to the production model. We know that small and medium enterprises is the main problem of solving the employment, the proportion of urban employment in small and medium enterprises accounted for about 80%. The development of small and medium enterprises plays an important role in the development of China’s economy. The main production planning system used in this paper is to hope to learn from other small and medium sized manufacturing enterprises of TK company.
