Application Research On Swap Trailer Transportation For G Corporation Parts Logistics

Logistics plays an important role for high efficient production of automobile manufacturers. With the automotive industry increasingly competitive, efficient logistics is a realistic way to improve the competitiveness of enterprises. It can reduce logistics costs, improve business profits. Loop swap transport is a highly efficient logistics. Currently the application of Loop swap transport in China’s automobile manufacturing enterprise is not universal and the level is different. Perhaps this is one of the reasons for the different levels of corporate profits.This paper started the research work from the actual situation of G Corporation. And it focused on the operation of loop swap transport in the plant.Compared with the traditional transport, loop swap transport has a high efficiency in travel time, truck utilization. But the work was become more complex. It’s still a serious problem to arrange the time schedule.Firstly, this paper reviewed the research results of domestic and foreign scholars in loop swap transport, and presented his new research topic.Secondly, this paper investigated and analyzed the situation of loop swap transport in G Corporation. The main problem of the loop swap transport in plant was waste of time, distance and cost.Finally, this paper constructed a mathematical model and established the loop swap transport’s performance evaluation index. According to an example of G Corporation,used the save mileage algorithm to solve the model. It’s also comparative evaluation and optimization results.
