Under the trend of economic globalization, WTO limits any use of the traditional trade policy tools like tariffs and subsidies in order to promote the sustainable development of trade and environment, on the other hand, but also allows the parties to make environment protection and the necessary restrictions on the basis of fully free trade. As a result, environmental regulation is given priority as a new green trade barrier especially by European Union, which has built a series of strict environmental standards. As a result, Chinese export trade is affected by its environmental regulation to a certain extent. Firstly, this article analyses the theoretical basis of the EU environmental regulation. Secondly, this paper analyses EU environmental regulation from the price mechanism and quantity mechanism to confirm it an obstacle to prevent outside products into the EU market, but in the long term, they also have trade innovation effect, so the EU environmental standards on trade are analyzed theoretically any possibilities of its influence. The important point is this paper extends gravity model, selects the maximum residue limits data of Benfluralin, Acetamiprid, Acibenzolar and Hexaconazole from 2005 to 2014, and study the effect on respectively 32 agricultural products export from China to Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands and Belgium. The influence of the results show that the standard strict degree has a significant effect on exports of agricultural products.In the end, this article puts forward strategies to the government and the enterprise to deal with EU environmental regulation.
