The application of the Internet has been widely promoted today,which plays a significant role in changing staff's way of working.In the age of knowledge economy,knowledge workers are the core part of human resource,and most of knowledge workers have access to the Internet at work,enjoy the convenience of the Internet,meanwhile,will inevitably produce cyberloafing.If knowledge workers' cyberloafing won't get standardized management and lets its development,which may lead to the reduction of individual work efficiency and affect the organization's competitiveness.The thesis understood some influencing factors of knowledge workers' cyberloafing by reading literatures and interview survey,and it also used questionnaire investigation and statistical analysis of data to determine the effect about personality traits on cyberloafing of knowledge workers,and the moderating effect of achievement motivation.The thesis explored the factors of knowledge workers' cyberloafing,trying to make some measures to standardize cyberloafing in order to improve organizational performance.This thesis verified the hypotheses by using SPSS 19.0 to statistics and analysis.The main conclusions of this thesis are as follows.Firstly,significant differences exist in gender,age,working years and education level for knowledge workers' cyberloafing,and there are no significant difference in position level,the nature of the organization and the job.Secondly,the frequency of social behavior about knowledge workers' cyberloafing is the highest,followed by interest behavior and business behavior is relatively low.Thirdly,it confirms that personality traits and achievement motivation are important factors to influence cyberloafing.There is significant negative correlation between agreeableness,conscientiousness and cyberloafing;significant positive correlation between extroversion,neuroticism and cyberloafing.There is significant positive correlation between extroversion,conscientiousness and achievement motivation,significant negative correlation between neuroticism and achievement motivation.There is significant negative correlation between achievement motivationand cyberloafing.Finally,knowledge workers' achievement motivation is a moderating variable between agreeableness,conscientiousness and cyberloafing,with the improvement of achievement motivation,the impact of agreeableness and conscientiousness on cyberloafing will be weakened.Proposing the relational model of personality traits,achievement motivation and cyberloafing for knowledge workers is this thesis' innovation point,and the thesis also puts forward a new idea to standardize knowledge workers' cyberloafing based on personality traits and achievement motivation.
