With the development of the economy,energy problem has become one of the most important problems in our country,coal as the main energy in our country has occupied an important position in the structure of energy,but the distribution of coal resource is imbalanced in our country.The characteristics of China’s energy structure and dislocated distribution of coal resource determine that the transportation problem of coal has been one of the key factors which affect the social and economic development of our country.With the uneven distribution of coal resources, the increasing demand of coal,the release of railway capacity but contradiction between supply and demand has remained intense,how to use the limited resources efficiently and economically to meet the demand of coal transportation while minimizing coal transportation social total cost is very important,this paper will base on the time-space network to optimize coal transportation service network in China.Firstly,based on the analysis of supply and demand pattern of coal resources,the layout of transport corridor,pointed out the problems existing in the process of coal transportation in our country.Secondly,analyzed the key elements which affect coal transportation,subdivided coal into two categories from the angle of qualitative and quantitative methods;analyzed the economic and environment cost of coal transportation, mainly analyzed the coastal dynamic rate of coal transportation, dynamic inventory, resource cost and carbon cost.Then,designed coal transportation service network and established a optimization model based on the time-space network.Finally,verified its feasibility through coal transport of Guangzhou port,comparing schemes in different conditions.The research result showed that with the influence of the type of coal,dynamic rate and inventory,cost of carbon emissions, the same category of coal has differen transportation schemes in different periods of a planning cycle,different categories have differen transportation schemes in the same period of a planning cycle, coal transportation scheme has category and time difference;with the improvement of railway capacity,the proportion of railway transport increases gradually,and thermal coal which has higher timeliness requirements choices railway preferentially,the total transportation cost decline gradually at the same time.Verified by some examples we found that the research method is feasible and has guiding significance in organizing coal transportation under the codition of capacity releasing and railway planning in the future.
