In recent years, with the accelerating process of economic globalization and the introduction of the national policy level to encourage, support and guide measures for SMEs has developed into an important part of our economy, we have made remarkable economic achievements. SMEs in the capital, technology, and compared to similar foreign companies do not strive, but in the level of corporate governance, especially in human resources management is still a wide gap. In the knowledge economy era of economic globalization and the advent of a comprehensive background, how to improve human resource management situation is the vast number of SMEs have to think and problems faced by more and more companies starting to focus on employee performance assessment, the performance appraisal as a core part of human resources management, performance appraisal hopes to improve the management level and work efficiency. However, the current domestic SMEs are still many problems in the implementation of the performance appraisal process, in particular, can not be constructed with its own characteristics of effective performance appraisal system. Based on the above background, we selected the Guangzhou auto parts company ZY such a Performance Measurement System for SMEs and applied research.Firstly, performance appraisal of current research, the current worldwide several common assessment methods and performance appraisal theory introduced; secondly, choose Guangzhou ZY auto parts as the research object, analyzes the current situation and existing performance appraisal question; again, the reality from the company, the application of performance appraisal theory to optimize the performance appraisal system design; and finally, on how to implement and safeguard the new evaluation system proposed safeguards constructive.Through the above research, this paper argues sound scientific performance appraisal system not only fully grasp the employee’s work capacity and quality to inspire employees motivated, improve staff and get a sense of belonging, can effectively improve the internal human resource management, enhance overall efficiency and profitability, employee progress and achieve win-win situation for enterprise development.
