Study On The Agricultural Product Export Trade Structure Optimization In Xinjiang

With the construction of "the Belt and Road", the agricultural trade and economic cooperation between China and other countries of "the Belt and Road" get widespread concern. Agricultural trade plays an important role in promoting trade and economic development in agriculture, however, China’s large population, the relative scarcity of arable land, in this context so it has become an important issue for optimizing agricultural export trade structure, enhancing international competitiveness. Xinjiang is the core area of "the Belt and Road" development strategy, is a major agricultural province of China, Xinjiang agricultural trade plays an important role in promoting the stable development of agricultural economic and the national economy income, but also plays a important link role in connecting domestic and international "two kinds of resources, the two market". Xinjiang region rich in agricultural resources, agricultural resources endowment is different with its neighboring countries, agricultural trade has less competitive and highly complementary, has a huge development potentiality. However, in recent years, Xinjiang agricultural export trade development faces opportunities, but there are some structural problems restrict its development, the export trade volume is still relatively small, relatively slow growth, lack of international competitiveness and development potentiality fail to play. Facing the historical opportunity of "the Belt and Road", it has become the focus of public attention for optimizing the structure of export trade of agricultural products in Xinjiang, create special agricultural export base and enhance business competitiveness of agricultural products.Firstly, this paper defined the related concepts and theories of the agricultural export structure, it provides a theoretical basis for this study. Secondly, analyzes Xinjiang basic conditions of agricultural products export and the general situation, a general overview of agricultural export trade development,mining basis advantage of agricultural products export trade. And on this basis, from a different view,analyzes the structural features of Xinjiang agricultural export trade, then study on the the opportunities and the problems of agricultural export trade development, comprehensively understand the current situation of agricultural export trade structure and its problem. Finally, constructs the empirical model of agricultural export structure factors, explore the main factor of optimizing trade structure and provides reference suggestions for optimizing Xinjiang agricultural products export structure.Based on the above, the main conclusions of this article are as follows: First, Xinjiang agricultural export trade has geographical advantages, resource endowment, economic infrastructure advantages, it has huge potentiality for the development of agricultural exports; Second, from the view of total exports structure, Xinjiang total exports of agricultural products is increasing in size, but compared with the developed coastal areas, it is still small, its international competitiveness is inadequate. From the products structure of export trade, the export species of agricultural products fewer in Xinjiang, but also main for primary agricultural products, its value-added is low. From the market structure of export trade, the market concentration of Xinjiang agricultural export is high, mainly in Russia and Central Asia. From the trade structure, exports of agricultural products in Xinjiang mainly in general trade and border trade oriented;Third, by econometric model and empirical analysis, show that the increasing of the economy of scale, the population size will contribute the structure optimization of agricultural export trade. Transportation distance between Xinjiang and trading partners is an important factor to hinder the export structure improvement of Xinjiang agricultural products. It has an important role in promoting structure optimization of Xinjiang agricultural export for improving market economic environment of trading partners and enhancing agricultural productivity. In the OECD, the WTO framework, deepen economic and trade cooperation in the field of agriculture between the members can effectively promote structure optimization of Xinjiang agricultural trade.
