| To adapt to the new changes in the world economy and achieve economic transformation and sustainable development, China has proposed building the Silk Road Economic Belt and 21st Century Maritime Silk Road for the all-round opening strategic vision. Deep in the hinterland of the Eurasian continent, Xinjiang is bounded by many countries in Central Asia, It is an advanced position for opening to the West. Besides, Xinjiang shoulder the historic mission of building the core area of Silk Road Economic Belt. However, Xinjiang itself has a backward economic development and low level of export commodity structure while the comparative advantages of natural resources, labor and other basic factors of production come into the global division of labor there is the danger of been locked in the low end of the global value chain. Thus, the study of Export Product Structure Xinjiang has vital practical significance.This paper will be based on the international trade theory and use a mixture research methods of literature research, theoretical analysis, normative analysis, empirical analysis, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis and comparative analysis to combine the history and development of Xinjiang export structure. It calculated the exports of goods Trade Specialization Coefficient and Renealed Comparative Advantage Index and analyzed the mechanism of the optimal structure of export commodities. It is found that to control the export, achieve smooth comparative advantage into competitive advantage and reach the high level in global division of labor has become the inevitable choice for Xinjiang to achieve the ultimate realization of national will and the rise of itself. On this basis, the use of econometric empirical tools has examined scientific and technological progress, industrial structure, exchange rates, economic openness, the relationship between foreign direct investment and optimization of export structure in Xinjiang. In the last the author put forward policy recommendations to optimize the export commodity structure based on the economic opportunities and challenges That Xinjiang faced with in the context of the Silk Road Economic Belt. |
